T-Shirt Man
A downloadable game for Windows
He is the most annoying guy in town. Everybody wanted to beat the crap out of him. But damn he knows how to make a good T-shirt.
Go out there, and give them what they want. An awesome t-shirt. You are the one and only: T-Shirt Man
Made with Raycasting Game Engine for the E1M1 Jam.
HOW TO RUN THE GAME:
Extract it and run Tshirtman.exe. If you are having mouse troubles, see NOTE. If you want to use keyboard only, download TshirtmanCtrl.zip instead.
NOTE: If you’re having mouse issues when running your game, right-click the game application in your file explorer, navigate to compatibility and select Change High DPI Settings. Once here, you’ll need to override the high DPI scaling behaviour caused by the application. (explanation from E1M1 Jam)
NOTE 2: If you prefer using the arrow keys to aim, then download the TshirtmanCtrl so the fire is mapped to ctrl instead of the mouse, so you can play with keyboard only like in the 90s.
Controls
WASD to move,
mouse to look,
left click to shoot (ctrl in TshirtmanCtrl),
space bar to open doors

Hello again, Glass Brick.
Just dropping by to let you know that the tutorial guide I talked about in my last comment was finally completed, and your game did make the final draft.
Here's a link to completed RGM guide: https://filmgamerj.itch.io/guide-to-raycasting-game-maker
Hi there GGGelo.
So I'm putting together an in-depth tutorial all about how to use the "Raycasting Game Maker." And I wanted to ask if I could use your game as a visual example?
I'd especially like to include it because of how unique the concept is, and that while the enemies do hurt you, the goal is not to hurt them, but to give them free T-shirts. That's such a novel way to approach a game made with RGM.
Hi! Yeah, no problem! We tried to make the game a little different from a convetional wolf3D clone.
It had some disadvantages though: because of the concept it didn't make sense to shoot the enemies more than once, so that's a limitation on top of RGM limitations, and that meant that having different weapons would be weird, so we had the only one.
If you need anything just let us know!
Thanks so much!
And yeah, agreed. Although, potentially you could have had certain people pick up and hold more than one shirt if you had to shoot them more than once. But it has more snappiness if it's only once, that's for sure.
yeah man the voice lines made me laugh several times lol

Hilarious voice lines. :D
your game was a hilarious and welcome pallet cleanser after I played a bunch of tense and scary games from the E1M1 jam. that song is now stuck in my head. Too funny!
